North Guilford Country Fair - Mission Focus
Each year, NGCC chooses an organization to support. NGCC gifts 10% of all the fair proceeds to this organization.
2026 - Guilford D.A.Y. is bringing the community together to build a healthier environment for Guilford youth by demonstrating that the community values its youth, reinforcing the importance of family boundaries, encouraging adult role models and applauding positive peer influence, Guilford D.A.Y. and its supporters will help Guilford youth make positive choices, ultimately reducing drug and alcohol use.
D.A.Y. (Developmental Assets for Youth) is a community coalition comprised of volunteers from the Guilford community, including parents, youth, community leaders, law enforcement, and other sectors. Ultimately, D.A.Y. works to reduce high-risk behaviors such as underage drinking and other illicit youth substance use and provides our youth with the opportunities, skills and values they need to grow into healthy caring and responsible adults.

2025 - The motto of Guilford Interfaith Volunteers is “Neighbor Helping Neighbor.” Their mission is to promote the well-being of our home-bound, elderly or special needs neighbors by providing them with food, friendship, and functional medical equipment.
GIV’s primary goal is to provide Guilford residents with nutritious food. A second goal is to reduce the feeling of isolation and loneliness in our clients. Finally, they strive to provide services that enable our clients to remain in their homes, postponing the necessity of moving to personal care facilities.

2024 - The Mission Focus of the North Guilford Country Fair is The Vanishing White Matter Families Foundation. Vanishing White Matter disease (VWM) is a very rare neurological condition that destroys myelin, the brain’s white matter. In doing so, it permanently affects transmission of brain signals to the rest of the body. VWM primarily affects children and is untreatable, incurable and terminal.

2023 - Proceeds to benefit SOS for Refugees, a dedicated group of individuals from North Guilford Congregational and Saint Andrew's Episcopal, many other churches and the community, who are dedicated to helping refugees. They work together with IRIS (Integrated Refugee and Immigrant Services) to help refugees settle in the local area.

2022 - Proceeds to benefit the Women & Family Life Center, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) located in Guilford, CT which has been serving women and families on the Connecticut Shoreline since 1991.
