NGCC Afternoon of Cooking

On January 4, we offered our culinary experience to create and cook a meal for the families currently in the New Haven Ronald McDonald House.  

Missions Blanket Drive

We are collecting new blankets to provide warmth and comfort to families staying at the Ronald McDonald House in New Haven. Whether you choose to craft a heartfelt handmade gift—knitted, crocheted, or sewn—or donate a new store-bought blanket, your generosity will make a meaningful difference. Your support helps ensure that every family has the basic comfort of a warm blanket during challenging times.
 
Please bring your donations to the worship service on February 8. Thank you for your kindness and support.

There will be a large bin in the narthex and another in the main hallway. 
[If you are unable to attend, you may drop off your donation before February 8.]

Hygee Program

Hygee is the practice of creating a warm, peaceful, and welcoming atmosphere where people can slow down, connect with one another, and experience God’s comfort in simple, meaningful moments.

Here’s a warm, welcoming one-night church program centered on Hygee – the Danish art of coziness, presence, and togetherness. It’s designed to be simple, meaningful, with a gentle spiritual thread woven throughout.

Space is limited; please sign up early.

Inclement Weather Policy

Power outages or seasonally defied burst of weather changes can on occasion result in a Church and/or Church Office Closing. Church closings will be announced on WTNH (Channel 8) and on WFSB (Channel 3). During the work week, NGCC follows the Guilford Schools. If schools are delayed or closed, the church office will be as well.
 
Please check your local TV stations, WTNH (Channel 8) and WFSB (Channel 3), before Sunday worship. Church may be cancelled even if the Worship email is sent.
 
Worship is a vital part of the life of our church body, so we will make every effort to remain open for our worship services.
