Christmas Worship Schedule

Sunday Worship
The 4th Sunday of Advent is a family Sunday! In the place of a sermon, our youth will act out the children’s story “The Deliverer Has Come” by Sarah Shin. There will be angels, shepherds and kings traversing the pulpit as it transforms from fields to clouds to a lowly stable housing The Deliverer himself in infant form. Refresh yourself in the Spirit as we sing our way through the most famous love story of all time!

Christmas Eve - December 24, 2024 ~ 5:00 pm
Blessing of the Creche
Saint Francis created nativity scenes to tell the story of the first Christmas. Following his example, in preparation of the birth of Jesus, we will synchronize scripture with the presentation of creche figures. This traditional service also includes candlelight and special music as we rejoice in the miracle of Christmas.
Christmas Eve - December 29, 2024 ~ 10:00 am
Sunday Worship
We will have a joyful service of Lessons and Carols. The Christmas story will be told using Prophet and Gospel readings alternating with beloved carols.

Inclement Weather Policy

Power outages or seasonally defied burst of weather changes can on occasion result in a Church and/or Church Office Closing. Church closings will be announced on WTNH (Channel 8) and on WFSB (Channel 3). During the work week, NGCC follows the Guilford Schools. If schools are delayed or closed, the church office will be as well.
 
Please check your local TV stations, WTNH (Channel 8) and WFSB (Channel 3), before Sunday worship. Church may be cancelled even if the Worship email is sent.
 
Worship is a vital part of the life of our church body, so we will make every effort to remain open for our worship services.
