SPARK Youth Group

Spark Youth Group consist of youths in grades 8 - 12.  We meet approximately once a month during the school year.​

​ALL YOUTHS in grades 8-12 are invited to participate; you do not need to be a member of NGCC to join SPARK!

2020 Winter Activities!
March 7, Saturday – 10:00-1:00/2:00 – Maple Sugaring at the Dudley Farm!  Make maple syrup the way it was made a century ago!  Help collect sap, tend the fire, and talk to guests.  This coincides with the Winter Market at the Dudley Farm.

February 17, Monday – 11:00 - Winter Hike and bag lunch!  The SPARK Youth Group had a fantastic day for a hike at the Westwoods Guilford Land Conservation Trust Trails in Guilford!  We got lost, walked in circles, got muddy, climbed to the top of a towering rock formation, had lunch, and - even found our way back home!

Saturday, April 13, 2019:
SPARK Youth Group adventured to Hammonasset Beach State Park for a beach clean-up in honor of Earth Day!  We collected as much trash as we could, and then went for a bike ride around the campground.  
​A short discussion focused on how we care for Gods world. 
Kick-off Event - Chapel on the Green
  • On October 13, the SPARK youth group made and served lunch for over 100 people at Chapel on the Green in New Haven!  ​
We are growing a faith-forming, multicultural, multiracial, open and affirming, accessible to all, just peace, globally minded movement of youth and young adults!

Through fellowship, service and learning we are making a difference in the world!
