Hygee is the practice of creating a warm, peaceful, and welcoming atmosphere where people can slow down, connect with one another, and experience God’s comfort in simple, meaningful moments.
A warm, welcoming one-afternoon church program centered
on Hygee – the Danish art of coziness, presence, and
togetherness. It’s designed to be simple, meaningful, with a
gentle spiritual thread woven throughout.
Space is limited; please sign up early.
[The sign-up sheet is on the information wall in the main hall of the church building.]

The Crop Hunger Walk was on October 6th!
Our church raised over $500!!!!!!
Our church raised over $500!!!!!!
|
Click here for the latest status report on top walkers and top teams! Donate online to boost your team!
There will be a scavenger hunt along the route to find countries and projects supported by the funds we raise, along with all the other Crop Hunger Walks - one of the people with all the correct answers will get a prize!
|
Crop walks were started 50 years ago, and this one was started 25 years ago by Clyde and Betsy Work. They both died recently so this year's walk is in memory of their dedication to fighting hunger and poverty throughout the world. This includes right here on the Shoreline, because 25% of the money we raise stays here to support 4 different Local Food Banks.

The Auction tent is down, the White Elephant items have been sold, hand-sewn items are being displayed in homes in Guilford and beyond, the perennials will be planted in various backyards, and the old fashioned tools from the Antique Tools Booth will be decorating barns near and far.
|
The tasty treats from the Pantry Booth have filled the tummies of fair goers, Little Toot had dutifully carried it's share of passengers, and the aroma of our Famous Peach Shortcake is sadly just a memory.
|
This year, the Mission Focus of the Fair was SIMPLY SMILES
|
Simply Smiles provides bright futures for children, families, and communities. The organization partners with populations in need to create physical and emotional environments where suffering is alleviated and from which local leaders can emerge.
The work of Simply Smiles instills hope and removes obstacles, empowering indigenous peoples to chart their own course to self-determination and a brighter future. Proceeds to benefit Simply Smiles, a mission working with the Lakota Sioux in South Dakota.
